I like author John Sanford’s “Prey” novels. You know, the ones that have the word “prey” in all the titles. The ones that are so difficult to remember if you’ve read or not. I like Sanford’s protagonist, Lucas Davenport. A lot. I like actor Mark Harmon, wizened team leader of N.C.I.S. fame. And I like movies.
Guess what I’m going to be recording tonight (May 2, 1012) at 2 AM, EST on the USA Channel? John Sanford’s “Certain Prey“. That’s what.
I’ll let you know what I think, later.
I didn’t like John Sanford. I read Robert Parker, J.A. Jance, Rita Mae Brown, the Sneaky Pete series and many other authors. I would rather read than watch tv.

I like reading the book first. Then watch the movie.
I watch almost no tv – it’s on for maybe 1 hour a week. But I churn through books (current fiction and mysteries) like crazy. Love John Sanford, although he’s too gruesome for some. You ought to check out the Archer Mayor mysteries.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ll record it and check it out.
I love John Sandford. I like Mark Harmon. However, this was not a match made in heaven.
I know they change lots of things when they make movies but since many authors (and movie makers) consider Sandford to be the best I didn’t expect so many changes. It was quite boring, which was very disappointing since the books are never boring.
I’ll be very interested in “hearing” what you think, Tim, since you are a fan of the books.
I was going to watch it tonight.
